Sectino Mouldings
Sectino ® Mouldings supply the perfect finish for hardwood flooring. Below is a small section of mouldings that are available to complement hardwood flooring. A downloadable brochure is also available. This comprehensive range includes thresholds, nosings, skirtings and accessories that are available either off the shelf or to order for quick availability. Available in pre-lacquered and un-lacquered timber, the select range of accessories are made from the finest wood and machined to a high standard.
The products are individually packaged in water resistant sleeves to maintain shape and protect from scratching. With species ranging from Maple to Merbau and numerous shades in between, getting the exact match shouldn’t be a problem, and for more unusual combinations the versatile unfinished range can be used with stains, oils and waxes to give the desired effect. Scotia beading
Scotia beading is used to cover the expansion gap needed around the perimeter of your new floor, this is fixed to the skirting – not the floor.
Size – 19 x 19 x 2400mm
Finish - Available Unfinished or Pre-lacquered
Rebated ‘R’ section/Ramp/Reducer
Mouldings that are used to cover transitions between a 15mm thick floor and, for example, vinyl or other connecting surfaces, which are at a slightly different height.
Size – 19 x 58mm with a 15mm rebate (20mm rebate available to order)
Lengths – 1.0m & 2.4m
Finish - Available Unfinished (Oak and Merbau only – other woods to order) or Pre-lacquered
Wood to Carpet section
As it says! 14mm wood flooring reducing to carpet or ceramic tiles at a height of approximately 9mm
Size – 19 x 40mm with 14mm & 9mm rebates
Lengths – 1.0m & 2.4m
Finish - Available Unfinished or Pre-lacquered in Oak (other woods to order)
Rebated ‘T’ section
A ‘T’ section is used to cover transitions between 15mm thick floors, which are on the same level, for example, in a doorway where both adjoining rooms have the same flooring fitted.
Size – 20 x 58mm with a 15mm rebate
Lengths – 1.0m & 2.4m
Finish - Available Unfinished (Oak only - other woods to order) or Pre-lacquered
Rebated ‘L’/End section
Typical uses of an ‘L’ section are: edging patio doors, fire hearths and creating mat wells, they can also be used to butt up against ceramic tiles.
Size – 19 x 40mm with a 15mm rebate
Lengths – 2.4m
Finish - Available Unfinished (Oak only- other woods to order) or Pre-lacquered
Radiator pipe covers
Solid wood pipe covers used to cover the expansion space around radiator pipes, simply snap the pipe cover in half along the grain of the wood, and glue it in place around the pipe, the join will become invisible. Available un-finished for staining or pre-lacquered.
15mm Nosing
For use with 14/15mm thick wood flooring on stair treads.
Lengths – 1.0m (Pre-lacquered only) & 2.4m
Finish – Available Un-finished (Oak only –other woods to order) or Pre-lacquered
20mm Nosing
For use with 20mm thick wood flooring on stair treads.
Lengths – 1.0m & 2.4m
